I discovered Slide.com awhile back on some person's blog and on Friendster. Curiosity killed the cat but I thought what-the-heck, I'll just try it. So here are the much-awaited photos of my Pangkor trip last month. Editing these photos made me feel like I want to go back to the island with the salty sea breeze in my face while my feet gets covered by the sand and sea water.
Enjoy!
P.S: I realized its not really working so you must click on one of the buttons to activate the slide. Sorry!
Yesterday I planned a last minute shopping spree with Elysha. She invited me to play badminton after that with her friends so I thought, 'what the heck, I get to make more friends' and I agreed to it. I picked up Elysha from 1U at about 11:50am then we adjourned to Bangsar. Both of us had our lunches by ourselves respectively so we didn't think of having anything there. Miraculously, it was quite easy to find parking. We parked near Nasi Kandar Pelita then we walked down the street to Bangsar Village II. On the way, I spotted Elianto and I decided to check out for auto eyeliners. I found one that looked OK and it costs RM15. Told Elysha that I would buy it on the way back later cause I need to use my money to buy the Vincci shoes first.
After a 5-minute walk, we reached Bangsar Village II and we were approached by Celebrity Fitness sales consultants, persuading us to join the gym. We told them we were members; so they left us alone. Celeb sales consultants are the most persistent sales people I've ever come across with. They will call you persistently, urge you, force you, bug you to join the gym or upgrade your membership. Most of my friends became afraid of their sales tactics that they decided not to join the gym. You can never push someone to do something they don't want to. You will end up pushing them further away.
Elysha and I browsed through the shops. We tried on some shoes in Vincci too but I realized that the ones that I wanted were too expensive. So we decided to check out the boutiques on the Telawi streets first before going back to decide to buy the Vincci shoes. After alot of walking and window-shopping, I suddenly had hunger pangs so Elysha decided to call her friend (who was supposed to play badminton with us) and ask him where to meet for a meal. He said to meet in Marmalade @ Bangsar Village II. I didn't realize how expensive it was. There, I met Kenny for the first time; with his parents. Kenny is a jovial but talkative boy who unconsciously insulted me on the first time I saw him. From the time we spent together that day, I discovered that he was a spendthrift and he can be nice to people when he wants to. Overall, I find him to be good company and I'm glad to have met him.
His parents sat on another table while Elysha, Kenny and I sat on the table beside them. I had a fantastic time getting to know Kenny and bonding with Elysha. It started raining shortly after while we were eating. Oh, I just realized that I forgot to pay Kenny for the food. He paid with his credit card; we will pay him later he said. Soon after, a bunch of Kenny's friends came to our table and it was a rather awkward moment. Elysha and I decided to continue our shopping so we left Kenny to be with his friends. We checked out a few more boutiques then I decided to do eyebrow threading, and later, get my auto eyeliner. Only after much contemplation that I finally decided to get those Vincci shoes although it costed more than a week's allowance. The things I do for the name of fashion.
Elysha got shoes too. She was complaining earlier that she couldn't find anything to buy and she wanted something. Finally we were happy with our purchases. We met up with Kenny again then we headed to his house to wait for him to shower before we headed to the sports complex. Joshua, Kenny's best friend was at the badminton courts already and he seemed like a nice boy. I scored 12 points against Elysha and Kenny, according to Joshua. Between the four of us, Joshua is the best badminton player. Although Kenny runs around alot, he always misses (wahahaha, that's what you get for insulting me the first time you met me). After the game we went for supper with Kenny's parents. His whole family are very loving towards one another. Its so nice to be brought up in such a good family background.
I came back home at about midnight, after sending Elysha home. I really had a great time and like I said before, nothing beats spending time with your friends :)
Here are (almost) all the photos that were taken last night. There were a few that was unedited and not that clear so I decided to dispose of them. You can see the view of KLCC and KL Tower from Luna Bar. I wished I took more photos of the place. Mostly there are camwhoring photos more than anything else. Missing from the photos are Taugeh, Chang and Chin Yu. They're not that photogenic as we are :)
I'm the girl in the blue dress. As you can see I got my hairstylist to set my hair. The makeup was done by me, hence the lack of professionalism of makeup on my face. I look fat in some of the photos because I'm now at my fattest, after putting on about 15kgs in a year and a half. I lost about 3-4kgs these 2 months and I am motivated to work harder. Soon I will look like how I used to look like in the userpic.
I had a short nap at work again today but the manager didn't catch me. Instead the supervisor who saw me said it was okay but I was too embarassed to go back to sleep. Surprisingly after work, I had the energy to go out with my cousins to have an early dinner and buy some groceries. Shortly after that, I went to the gym. Did about 30 minutes of cardio and RPM with Richard. In case you haven't heard of the Richard story yet, Richard is a good-looking RPM and BodyPump instructor at Celebrity Fitness. He's tall, has broad shoulders, gorgeous smile and dark mahagony hair. He's like the perfect 10 in looks but I found out a secret about him.
He's gay.
I have nothing against gays but how would you like it if your crush was not straight? And you of course, is a straight person. Quite difficult ain't it? Well, I forgot about Richard the last time I joined his class and I forgot about N too. We need to forget people who are unattainable sometimes. Although it crushes our hearts :/ I'm gonna get ready to sleep so I could be energetic at work tomorrow. Toodles!
